- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Commercial Officer to join them on a 12 month. This position will be hybrid, within Manchester/ Salford, Sheffield, Liverpool, Peterborough, Solihull or Croydon.
Job Summary:
- Experience of working in a procurement team or contract management team and a good understanding of commercial best practice.
- Experience of working with third party suppliers, charities or Voluntary Sector organisations to deliver goods or services.
- Excellent organisational skills in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience of assisting in the negotiation of extensions for complex contracts for services.
- A level of innovation and drive to deliver opportunities to drive value from Home Office requirements.
- Public sector commercial experience.
