JOB PURPOSE
Act as a credible procurement and commercial figurehead to provide strategic and operational direction. Enable a commercially focused, dynamic service, to deliver innovative procurement and commercial solutions, whilst achieving significant and sustainable improvements for the NHS.
Compile business plans, developing strategy for the Category Tower, ensuring implementation and that performance and strategic objects are met. Whilst contributing to corporate policies and strategy.
Collaborate and influence partners to embed cultural, and systems change through implementation of comprehensive procurement strategy. Ensuring all resources are focused on delivering cash releasing savings, process improvements and supplier rationalisation. Represent NOE CPC at both the Category Reference Board and the Customer Reference Board.
Role model leadership behaviors, whilst build a reputation for being responsive and innovative.
