Job Description
Provide procurement support our Tech & Design Category Manager in carrying out complex procurements involving IT technologies including hardware and software services.
Experience required:
The candidate will have extensive public sector experience in this field and will be able to work largely on their own initiative but with some guidance from the Category Manager in respect to tender procedures.
The candidate will through their experience be able to support stakeholders in terms of delivering requirements but with the confidence of being able to challenge the need where necessary.
Familiarity with Crown Commercial frameworks in the technology area is desirable.
Technologies required:
Experience in Enterprise software and support contracts would be preferable along with an understanding of Telephony and Network infrastructure purchasing as well as managing third party hardware support contracts.
