• Daily Pay Rates: £350 inside IR35
• Location: Inner London:Nobel House
• Contract Length: Asap to 31/10/2018
• Security Clearance Level Required: BPSS with Basic Disclosure (issued by Disclosure & Barring Service or Disclosure Scotland)
The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Establish the project team and its workstreams, ensuring clear governance and
accountabilities in place
• Establish a project board and then support them; providing reports on project delivery
• Manage and deliver the project within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints to enable
delivery of the agreed benefits
• Evaluate, monitor and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating as
appropriate
• Monitor delivery performance and maintain effective plans to ensure the project meets the
agreed outcomes, report on status, and initiate management actions
• Ensure all project expenditure is properly controlled, monitored, forecast and reported in
accordance with the programme governance processes and project management standards
• Maintain the project schedules, identify the critical path, resolve issues and control resources
and deliverables
• Create and maintain all project documentation as required by the programme for successful
management of the project
It is essential that candidates have demonstrable experience of managing complex and high profile
transformation projects and delivering at pace.
Candidates must have a demonstrable experienceof leading projects successfully (including leading teams, budgeting, planning, quality management, problem solving, reporting, and managing risk), using formal project planning tools and recognised project management methodology.
A relevant project management qualification,such as PRINCE2 Practitioner is desirable, along with an advanced understanding of how to apply standard project management techniques.
Significant communication and influencing skills are
required in order to maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
