- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Programme Manager to join them on a 3-4 months contract This position will be hybrid in Enfield.
Job Summary:
- Proven experience to lead, engage, motivate, appraise and develop staff to deliver high standards of service and performance
- Successfully led teams to respond positively to change
- Experience of effective budget management and deliver services plans on time and on budget
- A good understanding of the political structure and role of elected members
- As a regular and intrinsic part of this role required you to speak to members of the public in English, the ability to converse at ease, politely and courteously with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential and consistent with the requirements of this role.
- A property related professional membership i.e. RICS/ CIOB/APM or similar. Applications from individuals, with significant experience at Assistant Director / Head of Service level within the Asset Management sphere are also welcome.
- Extensive experience of leading on the delivery of large-scale capital stock investment and building safety programmes.
- Significant experience of leading an active asset management function, to develop and deliver a thirty-year capital investment and a sustainability improvement programme.
- Extensive experience of delivering transformation programmes, to support the Council in transitioning its services to address forthcoming legislative and regulatory changes, regarding Building Safety, Fire Safety, the Future Homes Standard and the requirements arising out of the Social Housing White paper.
- Experience of leading the delivery of Landlord compliance management services, across a diverse housing stock.
- A track record of improving resident safety, reducing risk, increasing compliance, and raising awareness of building safety and related issues
