- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a P2P - GPO (Global Process Owner) for a permanent role. This position will be in Reading/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
The client needs someone who can step in, take ownership, and bring clarity and structure to a system and team under pressure. The essentials are strong leadership, deep product management experience (ideally with SaaS systems), and the ability to drive process improvement and content strategy. Nice-to-haves include, direct Jaggaer experience, and a background in commercial transformation.
Qualifications / Memberships:
- No specific qualifications required.
- 5+ years’ product management experience (ideally SaaS/digital - Jaggaer).
Nice to have:
- Formal Agile, product or project management certification (Scrum, Prince2, PMP, etc.).
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt level or higher).
Skills:
- Strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation.
- Analytical & problem-solving.
- Excellent writing & editing.
- Deep understanding of UX & user-centred design.
- Able to conduct/analyse user research & usability tests.
- Prioritisation & decision-making under pressure.
- Complex process mapping & engineering.
Nice to have:
- Mentoring and developing teams.
- Familiarity with content delivery across multiple mediums.
- Maintaining content guidelines and best practices.
Experience:
- Proven track record in product delivery, especially content/process transformation.
- Experience collecting, distilling & prioritising user requirements across numerous stakeholders and personas.
- Experience in transformation programmes.
- Working with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience building and delivering a product or digital roadmap.
Nice to have:
- Direct experience with Jaggaer or similar procurement/commercial systems.
- Commercial transformation in immature workflow/process environments.
Regulatory Requirements:
- No specific requirements, but awareness of compliance/governance in digital systems is beneficial.
Nice to have:

- Experience with regulatory/compliance reporting in SaaS or procurement systems.
Other Beneficial Points:
- Ability to define/report on KPIs.
- Post-launch optimisation & continuous improvement.
- Comfortable in Agile environments.
Nice to have:
- Experience in process improvement and backlog management.
- Stakeholder engagement at all levels.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
