Role: Content Strategy Governance Lead
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: WFH
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Candidate: up to £600 per day Umbrella
Duties
• create and develop a system that allows for a controlled and comprehensive approach to content strategy development and be responsible for evolving its professionalism and maturity.
• Define standards and processes for content briefs working in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure they engage with new processes
• Test and implement innovative and relevant methods of measuring the impact of content, campaigns and tools
• Advising senior stakeholders, including ministers, on best practice and using their own channels to support the departments objectives
• Promoting content capability across the team and wider stakeholders by delivering learning and development opportunities.
• contribute to guidance for government, including content principles and patterns.
• contribute to the cross-government and GDS content design community
• help colleagues and stakeholders from other disciplines understand what content design is, why it’s important and how to work with content designers.
• Ensuring all content assets are user-focused, accurate, optimised appropriately (e.g. for search), and meet relevant design, style and accessibility guidelines
• Create an indexed and searchable repository of all currently created content, to ensure efficient reuse
