- The Client:
A government client is looking for an Area Property Operations Manager to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be based in London/ Hybrid.
Job Summary:
- Soft and hard facilities management – oversight of the FM contractors delivering day to day services at the prisons, most likely to be GFSL.
- Managing performance, validation of work, audits of work being undertaken, relationship management with suppliers and the establishment, attending daily governor meetings, understand what’s going on at site, what is needed, identify estates related issues.
- Oversight of some project work, understanding delivery of projects, some degree of management of that project work and bidding for funding.
- Budget management of day to day FM reactive budget. Plans of maintenance works.
- Stakeholder management
- Problem solving experience
- Technical understanding of FM maintenance
- Soft & Hard facilities management – mainly hard FM
