JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Procurement Director, as the Head of Category Support Services, this role will lead the Category Support Services function, designated to work across a flexible members base of NOE CPC. Delivering and ensuring that strategic leadership is provided to the Department of Health national work plan, ensuring key milestones, aims and objectives are met.
To deliver a category support service to the wider team and stakeholders, leading on specific project within a portfolio of project and programmes, which delivers high value and cost effective savings to our members. Be responsible for the management for the support services, delivering the operational service to client, including the provision of finance/contract management support, marketing/communications support and systems/data related support. As well as the provision of effective administrative support and customer helpdesk resources.
Represent the national category tower economy at a national level on all aspects of category tower programmes and procurement strategies. Ensuring global mapping and key links are maintained with stakeholders across nationally, whilst working closely with commissioning teams to ensure cohesive strategies in the delivery of products and services.
