Job Title: Project Planner
IR35 Scope: In Scope

The Maximum Pay Rate/Not including any fees just payable to candidate: £466.67
Location: Outer London:Lunar House. (Flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week)
Contract Length: 12 Months
Clearance Level Required: CTC - Counter Terrorism Check
Additional qualifications required for this role
a) PRINCE2 and AGILE Practitioner (1)
b) ITIL v3 Foundation (1)
c) Experienced in working on ‘off the shelf’ (solutions) projects and working with multiple vendors
d) Experienced in working on Procurement projects
e) Experienced in working on infrastructure and application projects
Key tasks and deliverables
a) Responsible for maintaining, monitoring and controlling all changes within a project and escalate when required
b) Responsible for the documentation and ownership of all project risks and issues including escalation, mitigation plans corrective plans
c) Facilitate planning sessions, workshops and meetings as required (1)
d) To develop and maintain existing L1, 2 & 3 Project Plans and produce a new Phase 2 post Go Live plan ensuring that the work is of the highest quality (1)
e) Keep Programme Manager and Director up to date of potential risks and other key nuances which may affect the health of the overall client engagement (1)
f) Produce and maintain current project schedules/plans, risk plans, assumptions logs, critical paths, dependency tracker, budget and communication plans (1)
g) Comprehensive skills set in using Microsoft Office Project, VISO and other online tools.
Experience Required
ESSENTIAL
a) PPM and ITIL experience (1)
b) Advanced user of Microsoft Office Project Professional and able to pull together reports (1)
c) Ability to communicate clearly and confidently to large audiences (1)
d) Flexible and creative thinker who can develop creative solutions that both maximize financial performance, minimize operational risk while still realising the business objectives.
e) Proactive attitude
DESIRABLE
a) Awareness of Government Commercial / Procurement Processes (1)
b) Previous experience in contributing to the writing up of various project documentation including Full Business Case, Benefits Realisation Plan, Project closure Report (1)
c) Understanding of Change Control Processes
d) Understanding of Testing and interpreting Test Plans
e) Understanding of effective Stakeholder Management and Business Change
f) Understanding of IT Assurance
g) Understanding of Government approvals processes
