Experience Required
· Sufficiently knowledgeable to be able to represent Team at internal meetings or workshops.
· Knowledge of DE&S organization, structure, operations, and procedures.
· Understanding of the concepts of risk management and risk awareness.
· Understanding of how to identify, categorise, describe, evaluate and prioritise risk.
· Experience of using ARM, @Risk and Primavera Risk Analyser software tools.
· Proficient in Microsoft software applications used by DE&S (Word, Excel, Access).
Key tasks and deliverables
· Support to the Project Manager in the management of project risk through risk identification, quantification, management, and analysis. Facilitate risk workshops,
· maintain project risk register, evaluate risk exposures and treatment cost benefit analyses,
· review suppliers’ risk registers and reports, work with risk owners to treat risks and assist
· subject matter experts in identifying / quantifying new risks and work with other Project Controls
·Disciplines in the production of quantitative risk analyses.
· Produce detailed project risk reports as required within the OC programme reporting cycle.
· Carry out project risk mitigation planning and control activities as necessary.
· Develop and maintain regular/ongoing contact and working relationships with DE&S MIST, core Risk team including Domain Risk Discipline Leads,
· Some contact and communication with clients and industry colleagues.
· Identify risks which need to be escalated.
· Agree attendance for risk workshops ensuring that a relevant base of SMEs attend.
· Support and maintaining an audit trail of risk decisions.
