• Contract Length: 21/09/2018 to 22/03/2019– 120 days
• Security Clearance Level Required: SC - Security Check
Experience Required
The successful candidate must: - be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients' products or services - be skilled in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy - understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets - have excellent interpersonal and communication skills - have experience of working in journalism, copywriting, marketing, PR, or events - work well in a team and with a range of people - be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively - be highly self-motivated and well organised - be able to see other people's points of view and take on board feedback - work within strict budgets - have an eye for detail - possess good leadership, people and project management skills awareness of defence
Key tasks and deliverables
Due to the generation of new material and objectives to demonstrate the positive impact that DASA is delivering, there is a requirement to develop a number of leaflets, news stories, case studies, vignettes and other content that can be re-purposed to different outputs. Brainstorming, writing, presenting, modifying persuasive copy and multimedia content to encourage people to invest in DASA, engage with DASA and submit their ideas. The successful candidate will also need to ensure appropriate sign offs with stakeholders are undertaken. This may include the development of content for above the line and below the line advertising
