Description:
Identifying Change Management requirements. Production of policy, processes, procedures, working practices and supporting guidance to promote effective. Change Management from concept to execution and review. Planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of changes, including impact assessment, resource analysis, conflict resolution and contingency planning. The successful candidate will be an Expert in Change Management concepts and practices. Capable in methods and techniques for risk management, business impact analysis, counter-measures and contingency arrangements, particularly relating to the serious disruption of business services.
We require someone who will be taking the lead on communications and engagement activities including all drafting of communications and fronting/ presenting engagement sessions. They will not be managing a team to do this.
The role of the Business Change Manager is to proactively prepare the business for the impact of the changes being delivered by one of the programmes that make up the GLD Change Portfolio.
The Business Change Manager provides a bridge between the programme and the business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed to enable the business to implement the change and realise the business benefits
Leadership & Delivery - Lead on business change activity and work with the programme manager to support delivery of the Business Case benefits and outcomes.
• Synchronisation of change practices, processes and people within the business-as-usual frameworks.
• Managing the disruption to the business caused by change and developing strategies to reduce resistance.
• Prepare the affected business areas for the transition to new ways of working; potentially implementing new business processes.
• Identify, qualify, and update the business readiness criteria across area of responsibility before implementation. Support the tracking of these to 'approve/refuse' go-live.
• Engage with key contacts to create the required business change strategies, engagement plans, associated business change delivery products
• Ensure that all communications and engagement activities are factored into delivery plans and establish and maintain the change management / communications element of the plan for the programme.
• Identify and classify stakeholders, ensuring their inclusion and draft into a stakeholder engagement action plan. Point of contact for larger pool / more senior stakeholders.
• Plan develop and present stakeholder engagement events and workshops to facilitate the business change and provide support to any other wider programme engagement activities
• Plan Develop and implement communications products and content with stakeholders tailored to the audience for communications in the communications and engagement plan.
• Consider Benefits Management in all Business Change activities and work with stakeholders to identify and leverage benefits. Establish mechanisms where benefits can be realised and measured. • Work closely together with other Business Change Managers across the Portfolio to guide and support, ensure commonality of approach, co-ordination of stakeholder groups, alignment of engagement plans and to provide cover for priority tasks.
