Senior Commercial Manager The individual will be responsible for:
• Assisting the DA Head of Procurement and contract management in formulation of a new procurement strategy for academic services
• Engaging with the Business Skills College (BSC) 1* Head of School her teams and stakeholders in defining requirements for the future academic programme
• Engaging with the Senior Leadership Centre Head of School, her team and stakeholders in defining requirements for the future academic programme
• Conducting market research into the supply market for education and academic service provision pertinent to the activities of DA’s BSC. This will require working alongside MoDs internal consultant analysts from DSTL.
• Planning and executing a procurement activity consistent with the academic service provision procurement strategy in a manner that complies with MoD, wider Govt. procurement policy and PCR/DSPCR.
• Managing procurement risk
• Developing a Contract Management plan for the re-provisioned services ready for handover into BAU including mobilisation of contracts with the DA CM team, users and senior stakeholders
•Developing measures for benefits measurement associated with the new contracts and establishing a benefits tracking regime.
