- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Director of People & Change to join them on a 12 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London (Canary Wharf), Cardiff, Croydon, Sale, Birmingham or Wakefield - Hybrid 2/3 days.

- Develop and coordinate tools for successful HR and people management activities.
- Manage a broad, strategic People function, and lead people change, particularly restructuring.
- Implement an employment proposition to attract and retain talent, enhancing organizational performance.
- Develop and maintain People policies, processes, and procedures in line with external rules and guidelines.
- Lead the development and implementation of the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy, and embed cultural competence and inclusion.
- Enhance HR function maturity, focusing on learning and talent, workforce planning, reward, performance management, HR analytics, and technology.
- Leadership and Management: Director level experience, line management, and stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Expertise in People and Change: CIPD Level 7, change and transformation experience, trade union experience, and organization design within an ER function.
- Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills.
- Public Sector experience.
