- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be onsite, London.
Job Summary:
Working as a Senior Tech Bar Analyst within Rosa’s Tech Bar, you will be responsible for a growing team of Tech Bar analysts/engineers. This will include reviewing and improving operational processes, being the point of escalation for complex issues across BAU and project workloads, ensuring the team are following ITIL best practice. This varied and exciting role requires strong analytical and communication skills, an understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to work with different teams in a constantly changing environment. Responsibilities and Support and lead all aspects of Tech Bar appointments. Line Manage a team of Tech Bar Analysts/Engineers. Act as the escalation point for the tech bar, leading by example and demonstrating excellent customer service across all aspects of the role. Develop and maintain knowledge articles, process documentation and customer self-help guides for users to publish on our portal. Contribute to projects involving Tech Bar and have technical input where necessary to support our partners experience. Supporting the transition of projects to live services, ensuring knowledge is transferred to the Tech Bar team in an effective way. Monitor performance to ensure Incidents and Requests are managed in line with OLA/SLAs. Feed in to overarching business objectives to provide continual service improvement.
Essential:
- Experience in line management.
- Experience working within a Service Desk or Helpdesk environment.
- Experience of ITIL / Service Management operating environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Broad knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
Desirable:
- ITIL foundation.
- Knowledge of Lean/AGILE development methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience of Jira and Confluence.
