This post will require you to hold National Security Vetting (NSV) at Developed Vetting (DV) The post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) before taking up the post. Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties. For the purpose of safeguarding national security and in line with Cabinet Office Policy, supported by Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), applicants who do not hold or acquire Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and meet the nationality requirements cannot be offered the post. Confidentiality Agreement Applicants should also be aware of the need to sign a confidentiality agreement on taking up the post.
Experience Required
Skills/Knowledge
Working knowledge of business analysis within the public sector / police service / security
agencies
Experience
Extensive experience undertaking a business analyst role/senior business analyst role
within a large complex business and technical delivery of programmes or projects
Experience of preparing and providing input to support the development of business
operating model development
Able to present technical information in clear and simple formats
Experience of preparing and providing business analyst input to support the life-cycle
development, delivery and testing of business-led technical delivery projects
Experience of presenting articulate and credible narratives at all level across an
organisation including being able to resolve entrenched positions with senior
stakeholders

Counter Terrorism Policing is an alliance of UK police forces working with
security & intelligence agencies to protect the public from terrorism
Experience of working with various stakeholders within a large organisation including
managing expectations and dealing with conflicting requirements and priorities
Experience and knowledge of formal testing methodologies and processes
Experience of liaising with third parties, System Integrators and service providers
Experience of undertaking business analyst activity using formal methodologies and
approaches
Experience within a UK Government security services and/or police
environment.

APMG Change Management ™ (2015) Practitioner / Prosci® Change Management Practitioner
