- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London/Cambridge.
Job Summary:
- Skilled marketing manager, with experience of developing and delivering campaigns and communications initiatives within the public sector / Commercial organisations.
- Demonstrable skills in stakeholder engagement, managing competing priorities and clear expectation management.
- Ability to take on a visible role – managing several initiatives and liaising regularly with colleagues from JSaRC’s Delivery and International teams, as well as more widely across the directorate.
- Excellent IT skills – MS Office skills are mandatory, and experience of using CMS and CRM are desirable, although training can be provided for a digitally confident person.
- Confident and clear communicator – regular presentations and reporting will be required.
- Experience in delivering marketing and communications within a large public sector or/and Commercial organisation.
- CIM or other formal marketing qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience of copywriting / content creation and production of press releases.
- Experience delivering Social and Traditional media campaigns.
- Experience managing external suppliers.
