Interview Process: face to face
1. Support Head Logistics (Army) in the delivery of Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) duties for Project ABEL (Defence’s next generation General Munitions contract arrangements).
2. Prepare Business Case(s) for Project ABEL.
3. Support SO1 Ammunition in all ammunition related matters, including management of the Defence stockpile.
4. Be the desk level lead and focus in Army HQ supporting the transition from current to future contract arrangements.
5. Assist the Log(A) Ammunition Team mature and deliver existing initiatives.
6. Support colleagues in the Unit Ammunition Management (UAMs) Team manage to end-to-end (E2E) ammunition supply chain efficiency and accountability.
7. Act as the Secretary for the Project ABEL Stakeholder Programme Board, supporting the SRO as Chair.
8. Maintain close liaison with E2E ammunition supply chain stakeholders, principally, FLCs, DE&S, DIO and Industry.
9. Liaise with Defence General Munition Project Team (DGM PT) and other elements of DE&S to understand all aspects of the ammunition stockpile and transactions, including reverse supply chain and disposals.
10. Understand Raw Materials and Consumable (RMC) implications of ammunition through the full CADMID lifecycle.
11. Utilise all relevant IT systems.
12. Report weekly and monthly, or by exception, as required.
Strong written and verbal briefing ability. Effective stakeholder engagement. Supply chain expertise either through industry experience or previous service with Army HQ or DE&S desirable
