- The Client:
Our government department client is looking for a Chartered Surveyor to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid in Bristol/Swansea/Nottingham or Newcastle.
Job Summary:
- Intelligent Client for investment and maintenance projects.
- Contract Management Service Providers (Total Facilities Management (TFM), Scape etc), including delegated NEC Service/Project Manager duties.
- Stakeholder engagement, co-ordination and provide advice and guidance to Property Investment colleagues.
- Project documentation in line with DVSA policies and procedures.
- Options Appraisal and Cost Management.
- Project Procurement.
- Project Business case drafting and presentation to appropriate governing committees.
- Liaison with other Estate sections such as TFM, Corporate Estates and Site Transitional & Relocation (ST&R).
- CAD Design Work (e.g. space planning and minor scheme plans).
- Planning Applications and dealings with Planning Authorities.
