- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Planner to join them on an 18 month contract. This position will be in Burghfield.
Job Summary:
Key Essential Skills and Top 4 Evaluation Criteria
- 2 – 5 years planning experience.
- P6 Primavera.
- Adaptable.
- Strong stakeholder management at all levels.
- You need to understand planning and have experience delivering a project utilising the following: - network logic, float paths, WBS/CBS creation, possibly EVM, resource levelling, monthly update cycle, change control, What-If, fragnets etc.
- Be able to make good judgement calls on planning.
- Needs to understand the role of a planner, it’s requirements each month and be able to deliver to the business rhythm.
- Experience in highly regulated industry beneficial (nuclear/oil/construction)
- Candidates need strong prioritisation skills and be able to focus on varied and changing priorities.
- Good IT skills, including Excel as a must.
Any specific Technology/Systems experience required:
- Excel.
- Primavera P6.
Previous Authority Experience required:
- Highly regulated industry beneficial – highly desirable.
- Public sector – not essential.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
