- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Snr Commercial Officer to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be in Bristol/London.
Job Summary:
- Managing the Competitive Flexible Procurement, including Dialogue Phases, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act, Updating and maintaining Commercial Strategies.
- Engaging with Approving Authorities, including the Cabinet Office.
- Conducting pre-sourcing activity for complex PFI replacement projects of high value and high profile.
- Undertaking Market engagement, assessment and analysis and reports and supporting Commercial Strategies and Business Cases for Cat A Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and implementation of the procurement processes for the DWSP.
- Provide input to Commercial strategies for DWSP and other PFI replacement contracts.
- Procuring all support contracts required to support the DWSP.
- Lead on commercial work strands both internally and externally.
An active SC clearance is required for this role. At a minimum, candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security clearance. Due to the short-term nature of the contract and the urgency of the requirement, the client may prioritise applicants who already hold active SC clearance and meet all essential criteria.
