A government department client is looking for a People Administrator to join them on a 9 month contract. This position will be based in Abingdon.
Job Summary:
The People Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative support to the People team, ensuring the smooth delivery of People operations and projects across the employee lifecycle. This role is integral in helping the People function deliver an excellent employee experience by managing day-to-day administration, supporting project delivery, and acting as a reliable point of coordination within the team.
You must be proactive and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment while being comfortable switching between activities. You are systems-savvy, and passionate about creating experiences that connect, inform, and inspire.
This role is ideal for an experienced People Administrator who enjoys providing high-quality support across People operations and projects. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of People processes and be a reliable go-to person within the People team.
Essential:
- Previous experience in an HR administration or HR operations role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Discreet and professional, with an understanding of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proactive, hands-on and ability to work with ambiguity.
- Build trust quickly and can work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
