Description:
Applicants will be expected to have previous experience of maintaining mechanical automotive systems. The role is focussed on preventing issues found by users in the field by developing suitable engineering based responses to these issues and embodying these within technical equipment support solutions.
Key tasks and deliverables
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The post holder will provide Integrated Logistic Support to individual Project Managers within the Information Systems and Networks Delivery Team. Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Production of Work Instructions for VDep/MDep/Team Nodes
Production of information required to feed into the TMSS produced publications; understanding that these need to be perfect for the deployed equipment and will require attention to detail and mature development).
AESP 201s for both static and deployed operating instruction
AESP 412 (static installation industruction)
AESP 211 (deployed aide memoire)
AESP 741 (deployed CES and parts list)
Use of RAM4 in support of ARM produciton (deployed)
Production of supporting documentation in line with SEOC guidance
Deployed Supportability Case
Deployed Integrated Support Plan
Generic:
Any long term log demo remediation
ITIL guidance for the support function
The post holder must be able to work under his/her own initiative, have good communication skills and a sound knowledge of DE&S procurement processes.
