- The Client:
A government department client is looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on a 6 month contract. This position will be hybrid, London.
Job Summary:
- Significant procurement experience using a range of procedures.
- Strong business acumen and ability to show evidence-based decision making.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and influencing skills.
- Awareness of public sector procurement legislation.
- Relevant commercial experience.
- Strong team culture.
- Strong procurement experience rather than contract management.
- Open competition work.
- End to end procurement, full lifecycle.
- Governance.
- Contract awareness.
- Public sector or central government experience.
- Been on projects of £30-40m+.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels (internal and external).
- Ability to manage and set expectations with stakeholders.
- E-Sourcing experience.
- E-procurement system experience.
