We can now confirm that we have been accepted onto the Ethical Recruiters List for International Recruitment and will feature on the list in the next monthly update.
On the 29th September 2022 after going through the application process, we are proud to announce that Malikshaw Interim & Executive has been accepted on to the Ethical Recruiters list.
What is the Ethnical Recruiters List?
It is a list of recruitment organisations, agencies, and collaborations that operate in accordance with the revised Code of Practice. This list is sorted by recruitment organisation, agency or collaboration name, professionals supplied, and region. Each profession an organisation recruits is listed as a separate entry and the recruitment organisations, agencies or collaborations that have successfully applied to the Ethical Recruiters List will receive a letter confirming this and will be added to the list in the next monthly update.
JOSCAR Supplier Accreditation
MalikShaw have been accepted onto the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) which has enabled us to identify qualified suppliers in the aerospace, defence, security, and space sectors. JOSCAR covers company capability, accreditations', information security, corporate social responsibility, financial history, and ethical operations. This cross-sector collaborative solution reduces the time, cost, resources, and duplication currently needed to provide information.
The JOSCAR membership is designed to improve efficiency of both the supplier and buyer communities by ensuring that companies only use products and solutions of the highest quality and that comply with best practices.
We are proud to have completed the registration process and to have satisfied all the requirements to become fully registered on the JOSCAR supplier accreditation register.

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. Using these projects we project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 43 tCO2e by 2027. This is a reduction of 26.5%
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and carbon reduction projects are being implemented to achieve this plan. These include fully electric company car fleet, changes in policy initiating a reduction in company travel, increased work from home and office energy efficiency measures regarding heating and lighting. The carbon emission reduction to be achieved by these schemes equate to 5 tCO2e, an 8.5% reduction against the 2021 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).

DfT selects Malikshaw to join the newly awarded STARTwo Framework
The Department for Transport (DfT) has selected Malikshaw to join its newly awarded STARTwo Framework for Lot 3 as an Agency Grade Supplier.
Malikshaw joins only 5 other organisations to provide a range of specialist Recruitment Services to the DfT across its Rail and other transport activities nationwide.
Typical requirements that the STARTwo Framework will generate for Malikshaw include but are not limited to:
- Specialist recruitment planning
- Development of specialist recruitment campaigns and strategies
- Sourcing interim personnel
- Sourcing high calibre panel and review team resources
The Agreement is for 4 years with Malikshaw being selected because of our proven ability to provide most, if not all resources that could successfully meet any or all of the DfTs recruitment service requirements.

MALIKSHAW SECURES POSITION ON THE DIGITAL MARKETPLACE
Malikshaw has secured its position on the newly awarded Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3 (DOS 3) Framework. The third iteration of the government's Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework will again feature Malikshaw enabling the company to supply Digital Services to the UK Public sector.
DOS 3 enables Malikshaw to design, build, test and deliver software through offering the services of both Digital Specialists (individuals) and Digital Outcomes (Teams).

Manchester City Council selects Malikshaw
Manchester City Council has selected Malikshaw to join a framework agreement to assist with interim recruitment to specialist/senior roles across the Authority. The framework period will be for 2 years with the option to extend for up to an additional 2 years and will commence December 2018.
This is a highly prestigious framework with the City undergoing quite a transformation into a modern, vibrant, commercial centre.
The work will occur across most specialist senior roles within the council and will include:
- Health & Senior Social Care (Adults & Children's)
- Technology
- Legal
- General & Professional - including Finance, Highways, Building & Construction

Recruiting Staff for the Civil Aviation Authority
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has selected Malikshaw to join its Framework Agreement for Recruitment Services under an agreement lasting until Mid 2020. We have been successfully awarded to fill vacancies which are of a senior level and specialist/ niche roles in support of the CAA throughout the UK.
A public corporation, established by Parliament in 1972, the CAA is the UK's specialist aviation regulator. It works to ensure that:
• the aviation industry meets the highest safety standards,
• consumers have choice, value for money, are protected and treated fairly when they fly,
• through efficient use of airspace, the environmental impact of aviation on local communities is effectively managed and CO2 emissions are reduced,
• the aviation industry manages security risks effectively.
Much of the work will occur at either of the CAAs two main offices, with the largest proportion of staff in its Gatwick site. Roles will also be available at the London office as well as any of the organisation's various locations around the UK.

I am a highly motivated and conscientious person with over ten years' experience at management level in Industry. With proven leadership and coaching skills, I am bringing a high level of business and HR experience into helping us source and recruit and high quality, specialist talent for our customers.
My entrance into recruitment has been through the development of managerial and, particularly, customer service skills in the retail industry. I have learned that engaging effectively with people, both internal and external, is key to building trusted and respectful relationships. I have held responsibility for individual retail outlets, entire district operations all of which has comprised responsibility for staffing and recruitment, training, and compliance. Each of these areas are crucial to Malikshaw delivering a truly effective and, hopefully, excellent service.

Ordnance Survey selects Malikshaw
Ordnance Survey (OS) has selected Malikshaw to join its Preferred Supplier Framework under an agreement lasting until 2020. We have been successfully awarded onto all four Lots covering interim, fixed term and permanent recruitment services in support of OS throughout the UK. The recruitment areas that we will support include:
- Corporate Functions
- Finance
- Commercial & Operations
- IT (Software Development, Engineering, Design, Architecture, G.I. Data Production)
OS is Britain’s mapping agency and is responsible for the surveying, production, maintenance and marketing of a wide range of geographic information, relied on by government, business and individuals.
With their Head office in Southampton and satellite offices in London and around the country, the OS is going to require a range of expertise in support both of their traditional business, in support of government and the wider public sector, and their growing UK and international commercial operations.
This will include traditional skills covering Geographical Information Systems GIS and Corporate skills, but extend to transformational skills, digital skills and commercial skills all of which will be necessary for the OS to deliver their commercial growth agenda.
